What stage is this at?
Early preview. The 10-week Summer AI Intensive curriculum and the personal AI tutor are live today. In-app code editing, project saving, and the project showcase are still being built — we'll email you when they launch. Free for early users.
What exactly will they learn?
Python programming, AI prompt engineering, working with AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google), data analysis basics, and an intro to machine learning. The lessons are written, the AI tutor is live, and the curriculum is sequenced day-by-day across 10 weeks.
My kid has never coded before. Can they do this?
Yes. Week 1 starts from absolute zero. For now they'll need to use a free external editor (we recommend Replit or ChatGPT's code interpreter) alongside the lessons — in-app code editing is coming soon.
How much time does it take?
One lesson per day, ~45-60 minutes, 5 days a week for 10 weeks. Self-paced. No scheduled sessions, no Zoom, no waitlist.
Is this really free?
Yes, the early preview is free. When Pro launches (in-app code editor, project showcase, faster AI tutor) we'll offer it at $9/month. The free curriculum and AI tutor will stay free.
Is it safe? Is there social interaction?
There are no chat rooms, DMs, social features, or user-to-user content. Your kid talks only to their AI tutor and works through lessons. The tutor has automatic crisis detection — if it picks up signs of distress, the chat is paused and YOU are notified immediately by email with crisis resources.
What about COPPA / kids under 13?
Kids under 13 cannot sign up directly. Ages 13-17 require a parent email at signup. Account deletion is one click. We never store raw chat content for moderation — only metadata.
